Designing and building a 9,000 sq. ft. restaurant and lounge from scratch
Soon after completing De Santos New York, the owners asked us to apply a similar design to their 9,000-square-foot property in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We spent a year sourcing across the U.S., and were responsible for virtually every aspect of the building and design process— from gutting the original space and lifting the ceilings to buying all of the furniture and décor. Highlights included papering the walls of the restaurant’s VIP room with old ads from Mexican Popular Mechanics magazines and deconstructing old tube radios for use as custom DJ booths. The final space included a roof deck and a custom bar/disco.
