Building letters and furniture for storefronts around the world

Our custom lettering and window fixtures have been featured in Ralph Lauren stores across the U.S. and Japan. Some projects have included custom signage, lettering, and fixtures for a number of different retail stores. The signage and letterings were fabricated from pieces of reclaimed barn wood and metal, which ranged in size from twenty-four inches to ten feet. Most recently, By Kenyan curated the 2012 children’s holiday window display for the brand’s upper Westside New York location. The display featured a series of wooden animal credenzas inspired by depression-era tramp art. Each piece was crafted from multiple layers of wood—the edges were chiseled by hand to create a playful, retro effect. Additionally, we participated in the launch of Ralph Lauren’s 2013 Olympic collection, which entailed the fabrication of giant letters in aged wood that read U-S-A, as well as an eight-by-twelve foot wooden American flag that was lit with Edison bulbs.
